Another Hump on the Road for thePiratebay.org

And yet again the Courts have declared against thePiratebay.org (TPB). A German Court has ruled (sadly) against TPB. The MOTION PICTURE ASSOCIATION (henceforth referred to as *the bad guys) got a preliminary injunction against CyberBunker operator CB3ROB Ltd. & Co. That is, the ISP that was till now feeding the Internet (with FREEDOM) with the TBP content has been blocked for now. :(

The website has been down now for the last 13-15 or so hours now after they formally confirmed (Kamphius or someone - according to TorrentFreak) recieving the injunction.

This is a SAD SAD day for the Internet as we know it( Thankfully for now the sitation is still not like that of China's)as yet again *the bad guys have gotten away with a court ruling in their favour.

Thankfully the TBP crew have already begun work (Thanks to their Back Up plan which they thought of after the 2006 incident.

Torrent Freak reports that TPB crew will get their stuff back online with the content soon. (Probably within hours). There is NO ETA yet though.

If sites such as TBP in the long run gets trodden on, then I suggest increasing the price for advertising on the Internet SPECIALLY for those in the Movie business and others that have tried to take out the Freedom of the Internet by maybe a pretty good rate. As if we can't get a pilot version of the movies out of sites such as TBP then we might as well recover the tax-payer's money. And anyways we won't having to pay much more seeing that sites such as TBP have kept a good control(for Free that too) on the actual Pirates that would get [ruthlessly(?)] get a VERY high business opportunity. All-in-all, taking down TBP would be VERY bad (according to me) on the people in general as we the people will be FORCED to pay money Left-Right & Centre by *the bad guys and the REAL bad guys (a.k.a the people that will mint money due to Piracy such as those in Somalia who happen to Fund their War-Lords with such Activities).

[Edited later] Atlast the TPB crew have finally finished transferring to the other ISP. great work guys.

This shows the Support that TBP gets. When I checked it was 571 comments and still going.

P.S. GJ Anakata and crew.... We got your back.
